Where can I find historical school enrollment data for Indiana?
2006-Present
Currently, the Indiana Department of Education (DOE) website provides data for 2006-present on their website here.
See:
Corporation Enrollment by Grade Level and School Enrollment by Grade Level for public school enrollment. You can also find Accredited Non-Public School Enrollment on the same website.
1990-2005
The DOE provides data through a legacy database with historical enrollment data 1990-2005 that contains both public and non-public K-12 enrollment data. Request this data from the Indiana State Data Center or you can submit a request directly to the DOE here.
Before 1990
For enrollment data before 1990, at the State Library, we have the following items in print that provide data. You can request these at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor.
